Night-shots > Roberto Renzetti (bertini)  > Night Photography > Set 4
This was our first meeting outside the College of Marin. We went to the Marin Headlands where the teacher, Tim, showed us several tricks with lights. Very cool stuff and a lot of fun!!!!

However I found out there is some problem with my camera's sensor - the upper right gets purplish... I also attached the lens hood wrong so it appeared on the lower left and upper right as two black blobs... Bummer...

Roberto Renzetti (bertini) > Here Tim showed all the different lights we could use to paint the photo with. The exposure was about 13 minutes, bright full moon. He was actually walking around with the lights, but you can't see him because the exposure is so long (and he kept moving). Very, very interesting effects.
Roberto Renzetti (bertini) > This is with no lights (other than inside the structure). The picture actually came out under-exposed because I didn't give enough time. However, I corrected the gamma index with a photo editor and this illustrates how the scene looked liked. (The purplish blobs on the top left are the sensor problem...)
Roberto Renzetti (bertini) > Another test. Note that there were a bunch of other students moving around with lights and tripods :-)
Roberto Renzetti (bertini) > Almost looks like daylight!!!
Roberto Renzetti (bertini) > Very long exposure too, lots of "paint by flashlight" from inside the doors and on the grass.
Roberto Renzetti (bertini) > It was a beautiful night: I couldn't resist taking a photo of the city at a distance...

Roberto Renzetti (bertini) > Here I used the MagLite to illuminate the ceiling, the small room, and the guardrails.
Roberto Renzetti (bertini) > Ghosts!!!! The ones on the top are me :-) Just walked there and flashed the light on my face :-) The one near the tripod was another student waiting for her camera. She was pacing around a little bit which gives this spooky look.
