Trying the red flashlight inside the small rooms.

Same phot with less "ghosts" :-)

Very long exposure too, lots of "paint by flashlight" from inside the doors and on the grass.

Here Tim showed all the different lights we could use to paint the photo with. The exposure was about 13 minutes, bright full moon. He was actually walking around with the lights, but you can't see him because the exposure is so long (and he kept moving). Very, very interesting effects.

Mystery solved! A bunch of Kayakers!!! They had photoluminiscent green lights on their rows (to see each other and to find the row in the water in case it fell off their hands)

"The moon is red because our skies are blue" (the atmosphere filters the blue light so just the red light hits the moon during an ecclipse - it's cool to be a geek!!!)

Used the Nikon for this one. the red streak in the bottom is glare from a very bright light below in the parking lot. Mount Tamalpais is on the frame, but it is too dark to see it. This picture gives you a good idea of how strong the zoom is on the Canon :-)

Long expore + waves + moonlight reflex = cool effect :-)

Needed to paint more with light (and expose a few seconds more too). But it kind of looked interesting, so I added to the gallery.
